Jesus! That is quite high. I was thinking it would be in the $215,000-$250,000 price range. Is this price because of the hybrid system?

Unfortunately, much of the increase is because they think they can get it. Porsche just raised the base price of the 2025 GT3 by 53,000 dollars, and there is really no justification for it other than they can, at least for now! It will be interesting to see if people keep blindly paying these prices or where they draw the line and say I'm not paying these premiums anymore.

$53,000 is whole car. You can get a decent Lotus Evora, a 2017 Maserati GranTurismo Sport or a 2019 Porsche Cayman for that price. Granted, these are not on the same level, but they are still decent, stylish cars for the price.

The issue is that once people pay these prices, the resale market for such cars is screwed too because existing owners start looking at the price of these new models and think they can also jack up the price of their used units.

A combination of inflation and definitely a more expensive car to manufacture. It's a lot more base horsepower than the model it's replacing.

It's also because they can. The car doesn't cost 350k. The marketing around it, the branding, the special audience they want for it, it all adds up.

Despite being affordable, I think the price under 400K USD is still comparatively cheaper compared to a lot of luxury cars from Rolls Royce and Bugati. I think that is the fair price for the kind of car Lamborghini Temerario is going to be.

I can see it with the tech and improvements from the Huracán. However, as others have said, I think they are charging that much because they can and people are willing to pay it.

These cars will be going for several million dollars in a few years on the resale market (especially if Lamborghini do a small run), so those buying new are looking at them like investments.
