Sant’Agata Bolognese, 29 March 2023 – In the marque’s 60th anniversary year, Automobili Lamborghini presents Revuelto[1], the first super sports V12 hybrid plug-in HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle). Revuelto defines a new paradigm in terms of performance, sportiness and driving pleasure from its unprecedented new architecture; innovative design; maximum-efficiency aerodynamics; and a new carbon frame concept. An output of 1015 CV is delivered from the combined power of an entirely new combustion engine together with three electric motors, alongside a double-clutch gearbox that makes its debut on a 12-cylinder Lamborghini for the first time.

The powertrain combines high specific power elements: the new 127 CV/liter combustion engine works synergically with two front axial flux motors that deliver an outstanding weight-to-power ratio, with a radial flux electric motor positioned above the first eight-speed double-clutch gearbox debuting on a 12-cylinder Lamborghini. The three electric motors are powered by a lithium-ion high specific power (4500 W/kg) battery pack that also supports a fully-electric drive mode.

“The new Revuelto is a milestone in the history of Lamborghini, and an important pillar in our Direzione Cor Tauri electrification strategy,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Lamborghini Chairman and CEO. It is a unique and innovative car but at the same time faithful to our DNA: the V12 is an iconic symbol of our super sports heritage and history. Revuelto was born to break the mold, combining a new 12-cylinder engine with hybrid technology, creating the perfect balance between delivering the emotion that our clients want with the necessity to reduce emissions.”

Man, you got to hand it to those engineers. They sure know how to design a proper car. I'd much rather drive a Lamborghini than a Ferrari. The luxury, craftsmanship and quality is so much better.

I haven't owned a Ferrari before and times are definitely a bit different now. I've owned 3 Lamborghini's though. The performance you get per dollar with Lamborghini is better. Looks the same, pricing the same, but I always felt you got more HP and quicker cars with Lamborghini.

You pay a lot more for marketing with Ferrari, IMHO.

Tell me that interior ain't gorgeous!

The craftsmanship and quality I see with this interior makes it feel like this car was made to be driven, and the exterior says it was meant to be seen.

I think Lamborghini has the best interiors. It's more modern than McLaren, Ferrari, etc.

The McLaren control centers are all trash. I've had a 12C, 650S and 720S and they all used the same cheap ass android software on an android phone sized screen to control everything. It's slow, clunky and often buggy. Definitely not their best moment.

That looks absolutely stunning, for sure! Are there any more pictures of the roof lining? That looks crazy.

Ferrari, McLaren and other companies try to kill themselves to keep with their "traditions" while Lamborghini has a foot in the past and the other in the future. You can see classic Lambo lines and elements in their new vehicles, but you can also see the vast amount of effort they put into making these cars appealing to the modern driver.

Why would they cheap out on a system drivers will use all the time on a ~$150,000 car? I have seen control centers that work flawlessly on much cheaper Mercedes coupes, with the best I have seen being in the BMWs idrive 8.5 (the physical buttons definitely sway my opinion here).

Driving the Lamborghini Revuelto is an electrifying experience, its V12 roars with pure adrenaline, and the added hybrid power delivers seamless, explosive acceleration. It is a perfect blend of power and sophistication, it has redefined how a supercar should be.

That Revuelto does look gorgeous. From the interior @havokrider has shown, I am sure it will be so fun to drive. I have just seen it has all-wheel drive and is also available in fully-electric mode. Lamborghini is overworking!
